I’ll wait till next year’s preseason to see if he looks like he may have a future or not, preferably even 2024 preseason

Haener looks decisive and looks like he’s trying to find tempo. I’d like to see him play behind more experienced players to see his real potential

Such a dumb take. If he's with more experienced players then he's also playing against more experienced defensive players and he's going to looks absolutely lost

I think it's ok to see some potential with Haener and accept it may take a few years to truly know if he reaches that potential. It's ok if he's great or sucks right now, we have Carr. Like all rookies and many 2nd year players, none of us know jack shite.

Haener kept throwing fast ball after fastball to early on, which is typical of damn near every rookie QB. He did seem to settle a little better later on and hopefully he knows better what to expect next week and improves
