No one truly believes yesterday was a precursor to a NFC champ/Super Bowl contender. They are just having a good time being positive, for one day, that a team expected to be mediocre, at best, had the best performance of any team in week 1. Yes, Carolina is not a good team. But blowouts like that don't happen very often in the NFL.
The Saints showed MUCH more production on offense than anyone reasonably expected. No one needs, or wants, Mr. Wet Blanket to come in and "calm everyone down". It's a message board!!!
