Yea, but Jimmy is worth 10 mil a year. If the Packers offer him like 13-14 mil a year, then they can have him.

I wouldn’t do it IMO. The Packers are feeling heat because they’re usually non active in FA and they’re looking to make a splash signing. They can have JG for 10 and they’ll never use him. I’d rather us spend money on improving our D anyway. Go get Suh, resign Okafor and bring on Butler. Hell we need a WR too. We don’t need to blow our wad for a 31-year-old TE who will turn 32 before too long.

I’m kinda with you. I’d like to have jimmy back but I do NOT want to overpay.

Suh and Butler are both gonna cost more than 10 mil and we don't actually know if we'll get anything out of either one Jimmy is a proven commodity in this offense

If Drew really wants him, I'm sure they'll find a way to make this happen.

Both need help, but which one is still in need of the most help?

All we’re missing is a #2 guy and a red zone threat on offense. The defense has a lot more holes: no true slot DB, no DE and no athleticism at LB.

I think we go after Sue or Wilkerson.

Pass on Butler. Sign DRC for 6mil.

Sign Jimmy for 10 mil and watch how unstoppable our offense becomes.

You can NOT cover Jimmy, Thomas, AND Kamara. Thats the most talented trio in the league. And Jimmy should factor that into his $$$

Well I agree but he mentioned him so I just went there

Suh is 30 and will likely cost north of 12-14M/yr

Butler got benched by the GOAT coach in the SB and struggled for a lot of last year

Jimmy caught 10 touchdowns in an anemic offense last year and dominated for 5 years for the Saints so...

I imagine he could see it being good for his career to be in this offense for the next few years.

Overpay. The dude is 32 and wants to play outside. HARD pass. Any $$ we give this dude we might as well light on fire. I would be livid if we signed him over keeping Breaux for 1/3 the price.

We definitely need to do something. Apparently, Kirk Cousins is probably signing with the Vikings now.

We re-signed Brees to make a Super Bowl run. Gotta assume the Vikings are our main competition.

I was a little sour on Jimmy because I didn’t like the way Drew constantly looked for him in his last year here and it sucked. I need to remember when we had multiple weapons and how great that was and we have that now. Come on down if price is right.

Surprisingly Drew targeted Thomas more last year than he ever has any other target % wise, including Jimmy. So I'm not worried about that too much

The interception Drew threw to end the Falcons game was pretty much carbon copy of what would happen a lot when he zeroed in on Jimmy.

Drew still makes those throws. Jimmy is more adapt of pulling most of those down. Or at least he was.

It's really not that uncommon for the NFC representative to take a step back the following year.

I'll take the Vikings in 2018. The Eagles are losing some players. The Vikings...not so much. They're getting Cousins & Dalvin Cook.

Top 4 NFC teams imo...Vikings, Saints, Eagles, & the unpredictable Rams.

I think he had too. Our lack of a 2 was a big deal and we threw alot to AK as a result.
