He’s not any of those guys but he has thrown some dimes into otherwise great coverage.

Rich Gannon was a journeyman and won mvp once his skills aligned with a coaches offensive system that fit him.

Geno may not be that good but Carroll is a good offensive coach and is using him to his strengths.

Plunkett

I saw Jim Plunkett when he was with the Patriots play the Saints in Tulane Stadium in 1972. Saints won then so maybe Geno really is like Plunkett.

Uh, maybe not the best organization to ask about player talent?

Geno was 16/25 268yds. 3 tds. against us and has played well all year. You can deny there's a fire until you get burned.

Jets let Demario go also.

Said it all week but I’m sure I won’t get any arguments now, but Geno is better than any qb we have on our roster.

That dude really hates the Saints for some reason. To this day I wonder how that dude kept his job in Detroit as GM for 7 years with them being as bad as they were.

Matt Millen is very stupid. He does not know how to process or articulate his thoughts. He cannot express or explain anything. Neither Millen or the guy could even recognize that Olave was clearly knocked the frick out. He's the typical talking head from the media that does not do his homework on the teams he's calling for during the week and only regurgitates headlines and key talking points coupled withe regular cliches. Example, "Andrus Peat is really long. It's hard to play against guys that are long, just a lot of length to deal with." Didn't care to explain why/how that's tough, just went right into the next play. He's horrible.

That said, he did not say that Geno was Plunkett, Young, & Rich Gannon. He said Geno could have a career resurgence like he's seen with the aforementioned QBs. This was actually 1 point in the game I give him credit for actually have specific names to reference.

And yes, he it was blatantly obvious that he was rooting against the Saints yesterday.

Millen was painful to listen to especially when he could not stop about Geno. When he said that I almost drove off of the road.

I believe the other commentator brought up Al first and his ties to LA, Millen then took that and ran with it.

Or like when Millen highlighted Woods getting double teamed on a passing play and said that's why you take him out on passing downs because he's just an anchor, then next series Woods gets a sack
