San Antonio and St. Louis would probably offer her big money.

Graves and Fertitta wouldn’t
Graves almost definitely wouldn’t. That being said although he’s competent in the chicken business there’s not much evidence of him having the know how with something like sports franchises. But guess you’ll never know till you do it. Also for what the average sale price of a pro sports team guess we don’t really have much choice.
Fertitta while more polished in the sports business (though the rockets have sucked arse under his tenure until recently) I have no faith he’ll really want to keep either team here. Strikes me as very opportunistic and if a bigger market comes calling it wouldn’t shock me.
Whatever happens don’t let Goldring get a hold of either franchise. We’ll be back in the Mecom/Shinn eras.

Fertitta does a ton of business in Louisiana between his casinos, hotels, and restaurants. Moving the Saints would be incredibly dumb.

Per nfl rules you can’t have controlling stakes in casinos as an owner. He’d have to sell out of golden nugget.
Also while yes he does have business interests especially in the western half of the state, the bulk of his investments are in the Houston metro.
Also a relevant piece of info….hes 69. No guarantee he’d be a long term solution either.

owning a franchise, from the macro level, is a lot like running any other successful business. Hire smart people, hold them accountable, establish a culture, listen to your consumers.

She’s trying to be worse than John Mecom.

She was the reason DA got fired in the first place and called both Moore and Loomis out publicly.
And when she shitcans both of them, this board will still say she’s not doing enough. This board, this entire website, is full of a bunch of fricking retards and clowns.
