She's a god dammed NFL Owner. She's not going to come out screaming and hollering curse words. She has a PR team that puts out very pointed and poignant statements, which is EXACTLY what this is.

I feel like the people bitching just don't understand the words in her statement.

I don’t know. I guess I was just expecting something with a little more fire. Either that or just no statement at all. The silence would’ve spoken volumes.

She pretty much said the league lacks integrity.

Not everyone speaks as crudely as Trump.

It's a little different when you own an NFL team, as opposed to being TigerBaitFan504 on Tigerdroppings, eh

And I get that. She’s a relative new kid on the block in terms of being an owner herself. Like I said, she doesn’t want to rock boats.

Other than Jim Irsay name one owner who would have truly rocked the boat and say called for a rematch etc. Statements are PR fluff if she really does stick with making changes that will rock the boat.

Curious what do you think she could have said to "rock the boat"?

Any statement that doesn't name Goodell as the architect and maestro of the NFL's big market bias is worthless.

Glad she stuck up for her team and called it like all the fans see it. But this will just further cement the case that the Saints are on and will be on Goodells shite list.

I like Gayle and am glad she got ownership, so you know where I stand.

I like this statement and as much as I wish she would just throw it on the ground, she can't IMO. In well crafted language, this is what the statement should be. It's leadership from the top.

She fricking directly called the refs and the NFL out.

You think two all star referees that were close and unobstructed both missed one of the more blatant PIs? That seems likely to you?

I'm not saying Godell specially ordered that. But the likelihood that two all star refs both missed such an obvious call under those circumstances is pretty slim

Based on what we've all seen of her, I think the safe assumption is that she was acting with class and not scared of rocking boats.

I don't see a problem with that. We've got plenty of people that matter rocking boats right now.

the Saints had many chances to win that game, if that game was set to be thrown they did a terrible job

yes, i do think both refs just missed it.
