First and goal at 2. D is offsides. 1 yard penalty
First and goal at 1.
O has illegal procedure. 5 hard back
Now 1st and goal at 6

In the same series of downs half the distance on one team should be the distance for the other

In the above case, offense should get 1 yard penalty back to the 2

If offense jumps first and is penalized from first and goal at 2 to the 7
Then if D jumps in that series of downs it should be 5 yards or to the 1 if 5 yards don’t exist.

Played Shinnecock many times. Very hard. All the time. Obviously tees make a difference.

When members call a par 3 the best par 5 on the course it’s a hard course. The Par 3s overall are brutal. Par 3 11 is awful to look at. Caddies won’t let you pick your own club. They’ve seen you for 10 holes. They pick the club. And they say aim there. And you say you can’t mean that spot. They say hit this club to that spot. If you do it you make par. If you don’t you make 5. Long left is impossible.

From the tee par 3 17 looks like there is no place on the green. National next door is a better amateur course. Shinnecock is hard. With wind it’s crazy hard.

That being said, it is more playable for the average golfer (I’m about 10) than Winged Foote. Bethpage also harder for avg player.

Other is in Frisco. Very nice. Multiple runs and a lift. Also other side of street is a run with no lift. Also they have a sleigh ride offering there. All located close to the interstate. So maybe 15 minutes from downtown brec

Also couple of other mountains/towns short drive

And you can do snowmobile rental in brec area too
