Jesus Christ. NFC South gets railroaded with NFCW and AFCW. That is just brutal coming out of a bye.

MNF vs the Falcons for the 10 year anniversary of the reopening of the dome is going to be fricking epic. most def taking the whole day off and spending it in the quarter

At least San Fran sucks now.

Chip Kelly will fail hard there.

We go over this every year. They haven't gone worse than 7-9 with Brees. It's not happening. Even when they are shitty Drew can still win games himself.

Outside of the Katrina season we haven't gone worse than 7-9 under the last two head coaches. Pretty impressive given where we've come from. We've been in the playoff hunt just about every week for the past decade and a half+.

Also not sure why people are saying that stretch is so brutal.

After Harbaugh was canned half the team quit and the 9ers still won't do jack this year.

Chiefs are just an ok team that was taking advantage of playing the Raiders and Chargers twice a year. Any time they play a real team they get exposed.

Broncos lost quit a few good pieces and while Manning may have been done physically he still had the mental aspect down to get the job done. Who is their QB now? Worse defense plus worse QB equals worse team.

If the Seahawks Oline holds up that will be a tough game.

Division games are almost always tough so I'll give you the Panthers as being a tough game.

So only 3 tough games in that "brutal" stretch. But you play every game so no game us a guaranteed win or loss.

8-8. 9-7 at best. I can see you guys splitting with TB and possibly losing to SF.

couldnt a better option be to move the bye week minimum back and just add more teams to each bye week?

i'll bet the Giants game has a lot of points scored in it again. Seems like everytime we've played them recently its happened.

2011 we rolled up a ton of points on them but the next year we played them up there and they reversed it on us. Then last year of course was a barn burner.

those first four games don't seem so bad. I'm not saying we'll start 4-0 or anything but I've seen tougher slates starting out the season before.

Didn't NE have a 5th week bye last year? We don't even know how the final roster will shake out. Teams that were hot last year could not be hot this year. Let's see the final 53. If we go 3-1 or 4-0 out the gate it'll go a long way.

My two observations:

Why not schedule on the the distant away games after the bye? They're harder on team during the meat of the season.

Why is our bye always so early in the year? We must like it that way for some reason.
