I agree with the point of moving bye weeks back. Shouldn't start until week 7 and they can push the end until week 14.
That still makes it 4 teams per week (byes over 8 weeks) and you still finish the last three weeks with no byes for the playoff pushes.
It's the byes ending in week 11 (or is it 12?) that is the main issue.
On the flipside an early bye can help a team recalibrate if they get off to a bad start. About the only good thing with early byes and I don't think that one positive outweighs the negatives.
