Can we cumpile a list of available players to shore up what I can only think of now as the most embarrassing set of DBs we've ever thrown onto a field in the opener?

1. Eric Reid
2. ...

I'm so disappointed. Air totally let out of my baboon.

We need to get better players.

I hate people who call out obvious typos, but this one was just too funny to pass up!

Eric reid is better than vonn bell and can play a little linebacker-box safety

If Eric Reid is the option, we have already lost

I think youre forgetting how bad 2014, 2015 and 2016 was. Those were historically bad defenses. Yes, they got torched and yes, all players on the defense as well as the coaches should be called out but anyway, this was just the first game. This D has a ways to go yet before we should start saying get rid of DBs. Doesnt the name Browner come to mind?

I don't know how you can say any of Browner's performances were worse than Lattimore and Crawley yesterday. We gave up 150 yards TO TWO DIFFERENT RECEIVERS. Considering the QB was RYAN FITZPATRICK, how could any DB performance be worse than yesterday.

I don’t care if he got on two knees and sucked Hitler’s dick. If he can help this defense, then I’ll allow it.

I can’t stand Reid but absolutely need to sign him. He is lightyears better than bell or Coleman played in week 1. That being said I think we should hold off one more week because I know the defense isn’t that bad. I think everybody will step up and expect a dominant performance against the browns.

It was a total ream effort to look that bad on defense. Reed is not THE answer.

Out of the two, Coleman looked less shitty than Bell. I didn’t even see Bell in the second half.

Aside from a blown coverage and stupid penalty or two (first game errors), I don’t fault the DBs as much.

Fitzpatrick was outstanding with his pass placement. Many of their WRs were blanketed.

Blame the front 7 for not disrupting him enough. There’s a few QBs in this league that can do that, and we’ll see them in the playoffs, so we better figure out how to get pressure if we want to compete in those games.

He missed another long TD that he barely overthrew.

Aside from the many times they were not.

DB is not the issue. Pass rush is the problem ?
