Free Agency starts Monday. Do we think the Saints will be involved much?

I doubt we are involved at the very start, but maybe we get involved in the 3rd or 4th wave of FA. I guess you never know with this team though.
FYI:
I was just looking at CBSs top Free Agents and Marcus Davenport was the SIXTH best FA, ahead of guys like Daniel Jones and Josh Jacobs, Orlando Brown, Ceedy Deuce, etc.

Another good thing with Carr, since he was cut by the Raiders, he should not count against the formula for us.

Saints are supposedly gonna try to keep Thomas. Would thielen be more expensive than Thomas? I doubt it
ETA... if both are similar in price and both are healthy, I prefer Thomas. Just worried about thomas' ability to stay healthy now

We’d still be on the hook for Thomas if we cut him. We’d then also be on the hook for signing thielen. It’s not possible.

Don't see many FA starters we could afford. After a week or two maybe some depth at RB, WR and oline.

IDK. When Franchise Tag Day came around, multiple talking heads listed & graded the ones tagged. When they discussed the "I'm-shocked-they-were-not-tagged" list, Ceedy was everyone's top pick.
A tag would've put him in the $15M range as a safety where the Eagles played him half the time, along with slot corner. His agent will insist (like Jimmy Graham did: WR vs TE) that he plays the more lucrative position.
