The Saints aren’t planning on taking the Interim off of Head Coach Rizzi’s job yet (wink, wink).
So what two candidates do you think Lady Gayle brings in and interviews to satisfy the Rooney Rule?

If they hire Rizzy, they don't have to abide by the Rooney Rule. There is an exemption if you hire from the current staff.
ETA: that is wrong, now it requires language in his contract guaranteeing him the head coaching job in case of an opening.

I would 1000% want the "circus"...they are contending for the Big 12 championship and are the most talked about program in college football. As a fan, there is nothing worse than being irrelevant.

I hope they don’t promote from within. I want to just blow the whole thing up and start over. New head coach. New staff. Get away from Payton era. It’s a new era and that time is over. Trying to cling to that is the worse mistake they can make.
