Kudos for him showing up tonight but maybe if he doesn’t suck arse in other games, this loss wouldn’t be such a bad breaker

He should be the most pissed. He put good passes in receivers hands all night and they couldn't catch crap. If they catch just 2 of the passes dropped, we win easily.

This may be true, but Dalton chose to throw the slant on 3rd and 1 to a nobody instead of sticking with the original play.
That was 100% a “qb can just rise up and throw the slant if he wants to”.

He didn't play it safe. He threw downfield all night and he threw dimes in traffic (see the pass that Taysom dropped that could have sealed it). You sound like a loser. You'd fit in with Dennis Allen.

There’s lots of people to blame for this loss but Dalton isn’t one. He made good throws all night long. Did more than enough to win that game.

He played very well. And he’s been playing very well. Mark Ingram knew where the first down was and intentionally stepped out of bounds a yard short. Then with the playcall after you have to wonder if they are following a script or just tanking at this point. They 100% didn’t get that first down purposely.

I said weeks ago that Dalton is a QB that could still win games, get in the playoffs and possibly even win a wild card round and more, just not with this team with this coaching staff.
Some games he has not played well and contributed to the loss, but every QB has those games. Tonight and last week were definitely not those games. He played well tonight!
Last week Juwan Johnson and Taysom Hill drop passes that hit them in the face, one of which was in the end zone. Plus the fumbles.
This week Olave misses a pass on 3rd down without being hit that would have been a first and new set of downs and would have us at least in FG position. 3 points missed
Then Landry misses a perfectly thrown TD pass. 4 points missed
