Expecting a Big Leap from Rattler this year.

Im expecting a big Leap from Rattler this year.
Esp. During Pre-Season. Expect to see him look like a All-Pro.
Expecting growth from his position.
4 Days into Camp. The dude looks like a stud.
It might be crazy, but if Bo Nix is still hurt, they might pull the trigger for a trade.
Denver aint rolling with that backup after he laid that giant turd in the AFC Championship.

Arm talent has never been his problem. Year 2 of the system so we should see leaps from everyone that returns. I would love for Denver to take him off our hands for a pick.

He’s a career backup and nothing more. If he’s lucky, he will have a Chase Daniel like career

This is a dumb arse take, but then I saw who posted it so it makes perfect sense. The problem with Rattler that will never get fixed is his accuracy. He's late and throws behind the target. This is a glaring, consistent issue. He doesn't throw with anticipation, cannot lead receivers, or throw them open. His height does not help him with these shortcomings either. It amplifies them.

Spencer Rattler is nothing more than a backup in the NFL and you are nothing more than a board racist who bashes on all the Saints white players.

I expect Rattler to look better this year also. No he didn't meet expections last year. But you can tell he's not going to give up just yet. Shough is the guy but Rattler is waiting for that second chance.

* Passer rating: 78.9
* Completion percentage: 62.7%
* Passing yards: 2,903
* Touchdowns: 12
* Interceptions: 10
* Yards per attempt: 6.0
For comparison, an NFL passer rating of:
* 90+ = good
* 95–100+ = very good
* 100+ = excellent
* Around 80 = below league average

Not sure what you watched but he didnt outplay shough at anytime last year. He started the season bc Moore had a plan for shough and wasn't just throwing him to the wolves from day 1.

Was pretty even in camp as I remember one up and then one down so coach went with the vet.

Nick underhill said it Rattler outplayed Shough in camp. Every practice report I read had rattler>shough. Shough flashed for sure, but rattler was more consistent in preseason and camp.
Quit the revisionist bullshite.
