Again, thank you Michael Thomas for doing this and smiling about it on the sidelines as if it wasn't some big deal.

What are you talking about?

Drew Brees and CB Eli Apple were present for the brief portion of Wednesday's walk-through practice that was open to the media. Didn't see RB Alvin Kamara or CB Patrick Robinson. But we'll get a more detailed injury report later this afternoon.

Good news?

Yes, that likely means they are going to be listed at least as LP

Apple will probably be LP.

He might miss this week but him being out there is a really really good sign. I don’t think Kamara will practice until Friday if he does at all. Payton knows Kamara is probably the most important player on O besides Brees. He’s gonna be cautious

Maybe I’m nuts, but I remember some spotty play by Eli. Untimely penalties or blown coverage. Not constant by any means, but memorable. I wish him well, though.

I think you’re nuts. Apple has been pretty damn good this year.

It was Lattimore who started slowly and hasn’t really come on until the Cowboys game. Apple gave up some plays in the Rams game but the whole team did. He’s been damn fine since the Rams game.
