Bring back that multi color carpeted ramp we rolled down as kids.

The multi colored seats were put in for TV viewing when the games were not sell outs. It camouflaged the empty seats when watching from TV.

it reminds me of super tecmo bowl seating.

Yes was there and agree; the seating area is very well done and outside structure beautiful however the corridor and facilities poorly designed. The ingress and egress especially after game total cluster as documented with everyone is funneled to trying to climb a 3' high concrete barrier to get on the bridge to the strip!

They should host all day game days.
Cheapen food and drink prices. Let people watch other games after the 12:00 game. Make it a hangout longer for people who want to relax.
I imagine there are immense logistical and staffing issues with doing something like this.

Who was the old man with the memento box?
Anyone of note?

That would have been a huge upgrade.
All the 100s of millions spent on multiple renovations and recovering (or even replacing) 25,000 or so seats from their horrid 1990s pastels would have just been a massive step too far?

As excited as I am for the renovations & the great job that was done I still can’t understand why they didn’t switch out the multicolored seats in the 200-300 end zone levels to new ones with drink holders to make both bottom & middle levels look like new on TV. It makes no sense.
When someone pays thousands of dollars for that Super Bowl ticket in those areas they are going to be very disappointed they can’t even put their drink anywhere but by their feet if they aren’t holding it. And yes, my seats are in that area……

It’s still a state run facility. That should tell you why.

Looks great. Those random colored seats though……… :

Those multicolored seats were last replaced in 1992-1993.
While reading a recent article about the Smoothie King Center, they completed an evaluation of the arena and mentioned all the issues with it. The report said the seats are 25 years old and way past their useful life. It is not good enough for SKC so why would it be good enough for older seats in the dome?

Have no idea why they are still there.
The multicolored seats are there so it looks like there are people in them when they're empty on TV. All black seats would look worse with an empty crowd

And to anyone that went to the LSU USC game… the dome is a Bentley compared to Allegiant. That place was designed by a moron.
agree 10000%. Allegiant is the absolute worst "new" stadium. Awful design. Logistics to the stadium, longest bathroom lines of any stadium I've ever been to, crappy concessions.....just awful. I'd say the same even if we won

I can't believe we still have the teal and fuscia seats

As a kid I always marveled with the SuperDome; back then just going into it was half the experience.
I'm glad they spent the money to renovate it and are still here.
