I hope I'm wrong, but we will suffer through at least another year of this before they even consider it.

I sadly think he gets another year. Good news is we will be shite next year too. After his firing we are able to move off some bad contracts, have a first round pick in 2024, and hopefully some Sean Peyton compensation.

He should be, but I still think there's a good chance he won't be

We won't lose out; this team will win 1 or 2 more games. It's not the norm to fire a first-year-HC who has 3-5 wins in the NFL. Especially when you consider how we talked him & the program up last year. They will feel that if we fire him now, it will make us look like we don't give coaches a fighting chance here.

It will be after the season. We have no one on staff that is to be considered, show him the courtesy for his years of service. Nothing to lose or gain.
We will get destroyed after the bye We have exactly nothing to play for

Nothing about this organization leads me to believe they would act that boldly.

He should be fired, but they won't do it after one season, IMO.

They’ll want to prove themselves right and will allow Dennis Allen to use the injury excuse. They’re already getting the media to run with this and the “well who are you gonna get? No first rounder, cap issues, “ angle

I’ve said all year that he will get another year.

But this game was inexcusable. And now we go into a bye having to live with this loss for an extra week. The fans and a bunch more players will quit on him and he will have to go unless he wins several of the next few games and I don’t see that happening.

No, I expect the Saints to be drafting top five after next season.

They went through a sham "interview" process to hire a guy who's friends with management. He's not going anywhere.

He’s getting fired.

They canned van Gundy after one year and it wasn’t close to as bad as this

Doubt he gets fired after this season but if we lose enough Carmichael and others will.

I’m starting to think so… this is much worse than I can imagine any franchise putting up with in the modern NFL

New HCs are usually taking over horrible depleted teams so they get a couple/few years. This team was stocked with talent and his coaching decisions have directly led to several of the losses. Injuries might buy him a another year though. But he’s not the guy.
