Ingram was inconsolable yesterday at his locker.

I have a shite ton more NFL contacts than you and I can say that this is 100% false. I've known two guys that came back at league vet minimum for another shot at a ring. People like you have never been good at anything because you can't fathom someone enjoying something they are naturally gifted at to the point they work every day to ensure they are the best that they can be.

I was surprised at how numb I felt and how little I cared that we lost on that kick. After Devin White missing the first half of Bama, the TAM game, and now this, it’s just getting harder and harder to get emotionally invested in football.

No, I qualified my statement and I submit that the NFL would prefer us to attend the games and watch the commercials as a real fan. I don't consume their product as would a fan.

The players do care, play hard, get injured, and even cry.
They are simply not allowed to criticize and complain.
Have you ever played a sport with obvious one sided officiating?
It takes courage and fortitude to keep playing to the final whistle.
Go after the refs or Goodell because most players are the real deal.

I don't because this has been going on for a long time. If anyone actually believed that the patriots beat the Rams back in 2001 is delusional. Eagles should have beaten the patriots when first played them when McNabb was the QB and T. Owens was with the eagles. The rematch was last year in 2018 and the eagles got their victory. Rams probably played their card to get their revenge game and win the super bowl they should have won in 2001. Its all about the money. NFL is a corporation with 32 share holders and they will market their product to the interest of their corporation.

As a Saints and Chiefs fan living in Kansas City, yesterday was like a double kick to the nuts.
How did one of them not make it?
Dammit.

It would only happen to The Saints .

Couldn't bring myself to watch anything football related after our game. I did look to see the score towards the end just to torture myself as to who we would have been playing....the best case scenario would have been us playing the Patriots...but now its a fading dream...more like a nightmare.
THEY ROYALLY F&^%@# US!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the same feeling I had the morning of January 10, 2012.

I mentally prepare myself for both outcomes, but you can’t prepare yourself for this

A quick glance at your posts show that you
-bet on nfl games
- own madden 2019
- play fantasy football
You are the definition of a fan boy

I never play the conspiracy part but yesterday I cannot be convinced otherwise that the NFL didnt want the LA market in the Super Bowl.
Wow, what a kick to the nuts.
I'm struggling with it.
I'm not a conspiracy guy.....The NFL just sets it up for shite like that to happen by not embracing new technology they have at their disposal. Maybe yesterday was egregious enough to force a no shite change but that does little for us. It's unfortunate a team has to get fricked out of a SB berth to force changes that could have easily been implemented long ago.
an amazing season just straight up tainted like this is a tough pill to swallow.

100% agree, how have you not embraced technology to avoid this?

Dude, I'm used to it. I remember Big Ben back in the 1970's, a phantom PI penalty against the Saints later on against the Falcons which got the ATL a win The Raiders coming back after being down big on MNF and Muncie having a career 1st half. Watched Hebert complete touchdown passes to the Phila. Eagles in a playoff game. Watched helplessly as Steve Young, after being held in check all game, somehow find ways to run and throw and snatch victory from sure defeat. I saw a great kick off relay work with time running out where all the Saints would need is an extra point to tie it up and send it to OT , only to watch one of the historically accurate kickers in league history, miss it. I've seen where the Saints take a lead back in SF in the playoffs with less than a minute left only to have Roman Harper allow a guy behind him on a prevent. I've seen where the Saints take lead late in Minnesota , and watch how with less than 30 seconds left and no time outs how the Vikings are able to score on a muffed tackle by a pretty sure tackling safety. I think after yesterday, though I've seen it all
