Do you think Loomis trades the first and second pick from Denver to move up in the draft?

29 and 40 would get them to somewhere like 13 - 15

Think it all depends if they like a qb that maybe falls a bit.

Or we’ll move up for a fricking DE

I doubt it.

They desperately need to hit on those picks.

It will cost our 2023 and 24 first round picks plus another 2nd or 3rd to get into the top 10.

Let the 2023 season put us in position to draft our QB

Let this draft be to help that guy out by not consolidating picks and use what we have already to put talent back on the roster. DL, Safety, OL, WR1, TE etc

Yea I’m not wild about any of the QBs, but you need to take as many bites at the Apple as you can when you don’t have one. We’ll see.

I mean, I'd be interested if Stroud or Young fell to 9-11 range but that is NOT going to happen

We need more than just a QB. I’d rather keep all our picks and hopefully hit on a few this year. Use next years draft to find a QB when we inevitably suck again and actually earn a top 10 or so 1st rounder

Loomis is a fricking idiot when it comes to trades.

Of course. He will trade the house to move up 10 spots to take Anthony Richardson to complete 40% of his passes.

Yes, probably to take a DT or interior O-lineman and then change his position

Historically; yup...I see us moving up.
However, the smarter decision is still to move back.

You still move into a top 10 2nd round pick and grab another 3rd or trade into 2024's 1st + 2023 3rd, which I think is the smarter decision.

Imagine what that entails, essentially 2024 1st + 2nd, and moving into this year's 3rd for next year's for CSP

Or better yet let them shop their picks and call us with the results. Why should the Saints have to try and sell off the rubbish that the 49ers gave them ?

We could do that to get our #10 back from the Eagles that we gave away to get Penning last year.

In the history of crappy NFL trades, Penning for the #10 has got to be high on the list.
