Prove me wrong. Maybe Garropollo but he has injury concerns.

if a McDonalds hamburger is the best available to you at a given moment and it costs 10x its actual value due to supply and demand. Maybe you just pass on having that hamburger?

When is the last time a guy that's been in the league for nearly 10 years, suddenly started elevating their play? Do we have the weapons to surround him with to help elevate him to heights he's not yet seen? An innovative OC that can unlock him? No and no.

Our roster isn't just a QB away from being a real contender, its pretty flawed. He makes us better but to what end?

If Carr had Shanahan as his HC he'd be an MVP candidate.

He would be the best QB in division period so that would be a good signing

I agree. I just hope they cut him and we pick him up. We actually could probably get a good player with a pick that might be used for him.

You'd be paying a whole hell of a lot more then, bub. The open market will rocket his salary, and that's if he chooses us in the end.

This is why teams trade rather than let them test the market

Instead of hoping for a scenario to play out, the front office appears to be taking control and avoiding hope. I don't love the idea of losing a 3rd, but if that means winning the division, I'll pay that price every year.

Bro. Stafford did it just last year lol. Carr and stafford are very similar in terms of stats and situation. Carr elevates us big time. We aren’t gonna be asking him to be the whole reason we win like the raiders did. We are much much better with Carr than Winston or Dalton.

Paying filet mignon price for a five guys burger just because it’s better than, Burger King, McDonald’s and Taco Bell is not very smart…..

A starting veteran QB that is not a reclamation project or is not past his prime costs $30 to $40 million in today's NFL. With the cap increase, Carr at $40 will look like Brees at 25 mil looks now. $40 mil is not an astronomical overpay for a guy like Carr.

What about if he had Pete Carmichael?

i think his cap hit this year is 32mil anyway. could be a lot less for us depending on how we work the trade.

Wendy’s went to the value meal situation years ago and abandoned it. The new strategy is premium pricing, it’s the only way to make a profit.

Rally’s is still a good deal..but not very exciting, so I don’t eat there. I think of it as an Andy Dalton.

Pay for our cap sins now. Make Raiders pay for their QB sins for next two years. There is a reason they are cutting him and it is because he’s washed.

Tank for Drake or Caleb. Use Cap to surround with undervalued pieces like the Formula in 2006-2009.

That’s the thing. Unless we move on from Pete, it won’t matter who we bring in at QB.
