But he’s Andy Dalton 2.0

What I’ve seen of Carr through the years is if he isn’t under pressure, and is able to sit in a clean pocket, he can carve up a defense.

If you get a hood pass rush on him, he crumbles and throws ints.

Very important to have a good oline for him.

Carr is our best option for the next 2-3 years even if it cost us our 3rd.
We need our top 2 picks to start rebuilding

No one has said he’s Brees 2.0.

But you’re the first I’ve head say he’s not an upgrade over Dalton

No, he's not and yes it is.

Lol. I’m, yeah, he is. Much better.

Carr had Davante Adams and Josh Jacobs that could actually run the ball this past season & he was such a liability that they benched him the last two games.

Carr built an NFL record number of double digit leads that his team blew. Peel back the onion and take a look at the play calling in the second half of those games. McDaniels was the problem. Players were pretty outspoken about it. It was weird as frick.

You do know him getting benched had nothing to do with anything on the field right? If you don't know that you obviously haven't been paying attention to the situation.

Exactly. I haven't heard anyone who knows anything about football compare this to getting Brees. But imo he's better than anyone we had last season and if everything goes right maybe he can lead us to a division title and possibly make a run. I mean Trent Dilfer, Nick Foles and other not amazing QBs have won titles.

And I can name multiple QBs over 30 who won Conference titles and Super Bowls.

I am not trying to win any popularity contests on a Message Board.

My opinion of Carr + Allen combo having a 9 win ceiling is based on me watching literally every Raiders game since 2020 (that was not directly opposed to a Saints time slot).

Take a minute and watch this video and tell me he is a sound game manager that is victim of receivers tipping the ball in the air or more of a gun slinger that just makes bad reads under pressure:

Yes it is extremely weird. Who cares about being validated on a message board. Pretty strange

When benched Carr was 26th in Passer Rating and leading the NFL in INTs but sure…it had nothing to do with that:

Nine of the Raiders’ 10 losses this season have come by one score. Carr was at the helm of eight of those nine losses. The quarterback was previously known for leading fourth-quarter comebacks but that wasn’t the case this season. Breer pointed to the interception on the last drive of the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers as a major reason why Carr was benched.

Most QBs even the greats like Brady, Manning and Brees crumble under pressure.

He's a short term solution maybe at best and he gives us a little more upside then Dalton.

Oh cool someone else coming in with a supposed “upside”. In no way did we hear the same thing about Winston coming in.

I’m ready….let’s go for it.

So the play calls were for Carr to throw interceptions?

hey haven’t woken up to the fact that Carr isn’t changing the trajectory of this franchise

They are posiSaints and the default position is the front office can do no wrong. They could trade a 2nd to get Ian Book back and name him the starter and many here and especially silly SaintsReport would applaud the move.

Can we try to identify, draft, and develop young talent at the QB position? That process seems to be working a lot lately. It is time to do so.

So the quarterback "guru, god" or whatever most proclaim him" Mr Sean fricking Payton, couldn't do it in 15 years through the draft but now Dennis Allen is supposed to?

If that is what you're banking on, I suggest give up NFL football or make sure you have extra time to sober up for work after saints games
