I think he can be/is the best TE on the roster. They can still move him around from QB to FB to TE in a single play and will lol

Not stupid to put your best players in the best situation to succeed.

In a way, this was one of Payton's weaknesses. He finds something that works here and there, and drives it in the ground. He did it with the end arounds when he started, then Jimmy over the middle, the way he used Sproles, Taysom, and several examples in the middle I'm not thinking about. Teams start to pick-up on his tells, and it becomes less and less effective; but he keeps doing it.

The Saints moving Taysom Hill to TE is not something new. It's been in the works since last season. In fact, his new contract was structured to pay him like a tight end. Escalators were included if he ever took over and became the QB again, but the deal was essentially a TE deal.

So he’ll stay in the gadget role where he thrives. Taysom is what Tebow should have been and is a big weapon on offense. I like keeping him there

Honestly, I like that they are telling him he’s playing his gadget role and to give up QB. He can be a good player in that role. Let him just focus on that.

Absolutely. Run good routes, gain separation, catch the ball, and get YAC....and still contribute on STs and available for a trick play as required.

ALL things he can do to help our team.

Makes you wonder if all the other coaches talked shite about Sean with his Taysom infatuation.

Yep

Instead of waisting time and money on “our next QB is already in the building”

We should have been thinking our next TE is already in the building.

There is a real possibility that he could be an outstanding TE

Looking forward to future Sean trading a first to acquire Taysom for his new team.

Stupid!! Let the man be what he really was a swiss army knife. Special Teams,QB,RB,FB,TE etc etc

Boy, you’re all over this place with consistent idiocy. Why is it that every post that makes me shake my head has your name at the top when I look.

Hback fb te etc is pretty much the tight end position it’s the same person in different formations . For the most part. If they say he’s concentrating on tight end, I can assure you that the positions you named are a part of that

Moronic statement!

How so? I think it's clear that Sean was the only person on the staff that felt this strongly about Tay Tay.

What?

Taysom’s ability to run the qb option/read has literally won games for us. And his ability to play as a pissed off fullback with speed.

There’s a reason he does so much.

Taysom Hill's role with the Saints should not change with the exception of him being considered a starting or backup QB. He should still have plays where he lines up at QB but there should be a true back up in case Winston goes down.
