Honestly, I like that they are telling him he’s playing his gadget role and to give up QB. He can be a good player in that role. Let him just focus on that.

Use Taysom as the wildcat QB in short yardage and play him in the TE/FB role the rest of the time. He is absolute money on 3rd and 1.

All this revisionist history. He was always the backup under Sean Payton. Won a lot of games. Was very effective most of the time in his part time role with Brees, etc. One little Steve Young comment and let him compete with 30 INT Jaboo and y’all roast him and Payton. Sad.

This is a GOOD thing for TAYSOM and the Saints. He has the athleticism to be a premier Tight End if he would go all in on the position.
Could he be a good QB? Maybe... but it hasn't happened yet and the years are ticking by.
Why not follow the path provided and go for greatness?

Definitely has the ability to be the type of hybrid player Chris Cooley was for the Redskins back in the 2000's. Tim Tebow had the opportunity to fill that role as well when he was coming out, but opted to be stubborn.
