A guy I know who does print work with the saints sent me a pic of placards with Maye and Watson’s name on it. The type used for a introductory press conference.

What do blue check reporters gain by tweeting info from another journalist? Do they think they have followers that just follow them and dont get any other news? Do they have a tweet quota?

Saints local media, other than Underhill and very lightly Mike Triplett, have zero sources inside the team. So for them, this is how they deliver news...otherwise, they would never be able to.
I think they justify it by saying: maybe fans of the team only follow local reporters and don't follow these big national guys or watch them on TV, which is probably fair in some cases.
