UPDATE:

quote:

#Saints rookie pass-rusher Marcus Davenport is expected to miss about a month with a toe injury, I’m told. After that, they’ll judge how it has responded. He’s in a boot now. Bad timing, as the first-rounder was really coming on.

Okafor is good. He is just less likely to make a game breaking play.

Rest Marcus if needed and have him ready for the playoff push.

Makes sense since we worked out DEs Robert Ayers, Tank Carridine, and Will Clarke.

He hurt it during the game. Came out for awhile then came back in during 3rd/ 4th quarter. It happened before his second sack I believe so hopefully he can get back quickly.

Toe injuries can be painful and there’s often little you can do to accelerate the healing process, but we’ll see.
