Davenport: 0 tackles, 0 tfl, 2 qb hits, 1 pd
Rankins: 5 tackles, 2.5 tfl, 1 sack, 2 qb hits

These are the 2 we need to get going imo. Hopefully they'll continue to improve as they get more healthy.

Cam had a big game by the way

Just eye popping numbers by Davenport, he’s really earning those 2 draft picks.

Davenport was great last night and impacted the game. He’s always great when he actually plays.

Amazing what happens for Cam when Davenport is in. Other guys may be good but Davenport takes pressure off of Cam.

Looks like Rankins also had a good game, judging by the stats.

How much did he play? The bits of the game I saw, he was not in there.

I am as big of a Davenport hater that exists here, but he saved us two touchdowns by being in Hebert's face as he was throwing deep.

Don’t forget about our guy Hendrickson with his 1.5 sacks.

If you think Davenport and Rabkins didnt impact the game last night you clearly weren't watching. That said Cam didnt do enough(pro bowl level), considering the entire starting right side of their line was missing, same exact thing as the Raiders game.

Huh? I didn't say that at all. I thought it was a great step in the right direction to have them together on field. If they stay healthy, I expect the defense to improved vastly over the next month

ETA... rereading, I can see where it may have looked like I was down on them. Just worded wrong it seems.

Davenport's strength is incredible. If he ever puts it all together he will be a Chris Jones type player. Some guys can just never get past the injury bug, and so far he's been one of them.

No worries, mine was also just a generalization for anyone reading the thread.

Sheldons best game in a while. Davenport was impactful as well, good signs.

Did you watch the game? Davenport may not have had a huge game on paper but due to him wrecking shop in the backfield Cam was able to free up and had a solid game.

Davenport is a freak of nature. He was great on a couple of rushes. If he can just be healthy (huge if) he is a big time difference maker.

Again, bad wording or something on my part. I thought they were good last night. I think it was a big step forward, but I think we can get more, much more from these 2

Davenport got alot of push last night. It might show up on stat sheet but he did pretty good.
