But, you can't call out Cam because it was in 2017 and not touch Demario from 2019.

I wasn't calling out anyone in particular, 2017 was the farthest year you listed. But my post did include demario , AP 2019.

Doesn't matter this whole team sucks

Translation-

This isn’t my fault. It’s those idiots doing the drafting.

Maybe you should draft elite players when they present themselves, especially at positions of need.. Brian Branch was available and we took the ghost of Isiah Foskey instead. Foskey cant see the field on a bad dline and Brian Branch is a young superstar since day 1. Huge whiff.

If only someone on the board knew…..

So Dennis Allen is taking shots at the Loomis and Ireland? Pretty much tells us that this is Allen’s last year in NOLA.

Yup. I’m sure he sees the writing on the wall. But he’s not wrong

It’s been some bad decisions by the front office.

Let a top 3 pass rushing end leave for nothing. (Was on record as saying he should have been tagged)
Drafted and wasted 3 first rounders for Turner and Davenport
Top 40 pick for Fosky. (Branch fell right into your lap)
All the picks they wasted to move up for Olave.
Ruiz has been average
Penning was a disaster for two years. Maybe he’s Ruiz level average now. (I expect more out of frp than average)
Replacing Marcus Williams for Maye who was bad and cut.
Signing Dalton in free agency costs us a 3rd round comp pick.
Drafted Miller when better rbs were in the board. (Had Achane and Tank rated higher)
Add to it signing all our 35 year old players to big money extensions and you get the shite show that is currently happening.

It appears they don't have any great old players, either.

Its pretty damning that all of us regular folks knew this should have been the pick yet the front office is so clueless. Seems like this happens quite often. It was also so obvious that Foskey was a bad pick too. Its kinda depressing to think about.

We do have old players that were great players. They just aren’t great now.

There was a local sportscaster back-in-the-day who called the New Orleans Saints the New Orleans Wheezers because their roster was replete with old players way past their prime who had one foot in the proverbial football grave. Perhaps it's time to resurrect that moniker.

The only way you do this at this point is making trades. Like Lattimore and Kamara.

Could you get a 2nd-3rd for Kamara? 4th-5th for Lattimore.

Then you take your 2nd and their 3rd and move up in the 2nd round or trade both 2025 3rd for another 2nd rounder in 2025.

You are getting maybe 5 draft signees and one Key FA signee out of each class. So you are adding 6 players.

Or maybe he knows Loomis is a dead man walking. Lomis has clout but he does not have job security like most believe. Just like a coach, he can only fail on his production promises for so long before the people writing the checks get tired of seeing them bounce.

I'd like to know - who makes the player personnel acquisition analyses and decisions? Ireland? Loomis? DA? I'd like to know.

One of the worst things that can happen would be Loomis announcing he's stepping out of the GM role and giving it to Ireland this offseason. The next contender that Ireland is solely responsible for building will be his first.

Ireland hit on that 2017 class and I think we all anointed him. I've been saying for years I don't like how he has a strict zone for player size. Sometimes a player is undersized and is just that good.

This team needs an entire reset. Ireland has been horrible the last few yrs.

If we don't like Ireland around here then we have nobody in the franchise who knows what the they are doing when it comes to player personnel analysis and acquisition.

This franchise is doomed.
