I wonder where Haener ranks on the list of worst QBs drafted by us in the last 20 years....
I would imagine Tommy Stevens is dead last. Then Canfield...then Haener?

Cannot believe we burned a 4th rounder on Haener. He was tiny. Not surprised in the least that he is out in KC. He is probably better suited for the UFL.
Grayson was a 3rd rounder.
Outside of Drew Brees, our franchise track record has been dogshit with QB's.

Didn’t he just win senior bowl mvp? Either way, was a great pick in the 7th. Even if he becomes a backup, a qb on a 7th round salary is a steal. If he makes the team of course. Similar situation to Ewers last year.

He was part of, maybe the last, member of the group of undersized QBs with weak/moderate arm strength the Saints drafted hoping one would become the next Drew Brees...ignoring the fact Brees was an anomaly, not a "new norm".
At least with Shough (6'5 with good arm strength) it feels like that era is over. Even if Shough doesn't become a great QB
