Redzone stats

He's historically very bad in the redzone. Hopefully this WR corps can help break this trend.

Toggle throughout the years and see for yourself.

Was mentioned in the firestorm right after he was signed.

Constantly playing from behind will force one to overcompensate and make mistakes over time

Almost identical completion % to Aaron Rodgers in 2019 (62%)

Rodgers was 42% in 2018, 20% below Carr .. was he very bad?

I'm a little surprised co sideline he had peak Cook and Waller.

I think Williams, Kamara, and Johnson should help.

I vividly remember that 2 point conversion pass he completed past Ken Crawley against the Saints about 8 years ago to win the game in the Superdome.

I remember from 2020 when the Saints were playing in Vegas on MNF.

Raiders scored multiple times in the redzone.

we lost by ten points 34-24.

Saints went on to finish 12-4 that year.

Unfortunately so is Pete Carmichael

Hopefully it helps to have a check down or route runner like Kamara to help him out

It’s that he cares too much. So actually his biggest weakness is his biggest strength

The Rodgers argument does not fit the narrative. How dare you

He definitely had to press a lot when he got to the redzone, because his teams were always behind due to historically bad defenses.

We will see how it goes when he (should) routinely has a lead.

Well, he did throw a TD to Shaheed that the officials botched, which would have made his red zone stats look better. Outside of his INT (which was obvious he didn't see the defender drop into the passing lane), I would place the blame more on the line / play calling than his execution. The hit his arm fumble was not on him, and we had a play where the only viable route was a jumpball to the back of the endzone to Taysom Hill.

Cherry pick if you want but it doesn't change the fact that Carr has trouble putting points on the board. Why isn't Carr on anyone's fantasy team? He's not with the plagued Raiders anymore!?! Because everyone knows hes bad.
