Such a rare feat in professional sports today. Here’s to hoping he can finish strong for a HOF push.

Need more than 1 year to kick that $23M+ cap hit that’s already on the books next year, while no longer under contract

Hope he makes the hall.

Better career numbers than JJ Watt.

While jj watt is Adrian Peterson

I think cam could move inside and still be effective while compensating for the speed loss as he ages

Well yeah - he’s played in ~40 more games.

From the article

quote:

Jordan's agent, Doug Hendrickson of Wasserman, told The Associated Press on Monday he has discussed an extension of at least two years with New Orleans and aims to complete a deal before the start of training camp in late July.

Cams ability to play basically every snap for his whole career is HOF worthy.

Never missing a game bc of injury is next level talent.

The one player who’s contract should never be under a microscope is Cam’s.

He has carte blanche. He’s been productive since jump. He’s been a massive leader in the locker room and in the community. Never got caught up in racism/woke and has always put this team first. If the Saints have to kick numbers around to keep him here then so be it.

He’s a top 5 Saint all time.

I wish I had 100 upvotes. Cam will forever be a Saints legend and should be treated as such.

Dude is a stud like a Cal Ripken, a iron horse. It's too bad he came there after they had won a championship because that's the only thing missing from his HOF resume.

Deafted the same year, bro. So that’s another ability he has over Watt. AVAILAbility.

I can't believe you'd hold that against him with the way players and teams are affected now more than ever in the NFL.

This is wild to me. also he's played in at least 16 games each year, while JJ got hurt multiple times. He just never had the hype machine JJ did, or the monster 20 sack season

Woah- maybe top 5 defensive players.

1- Brees
2- Rickey Jackson
3- Roaf
4- Colston
5- Sam Mills
6- Cam Jordan

I can make an argument that Morten Andersen and Archie could be ahead of him.

Cam’s numbers are due to longevity which is impressive but he was never the best DE in the league at any point in his career.
