Jahri Evans deserves to be in the HOF. Evans deservingly was a pro bowl selection 6 yrs. in a row and All-pro 5 yrs. in a row. Jon Gruden said Colston was the best receiver to never make the pro bowl.
Strangely enough Colston got screwed out of the NFL Offensive ROTY by a QB that threw 12 tds and 13 interceptions Vince Young. Of course Colston will never be in the HOF but it's shameful he averaged 71 rec. a year and never a pro bowl.

You can make the same argument about Drew. I personally wouldnt because I think this logic is flawed to begin with.

Less sacks per season, less tackles for loss over a career, less qb hits, etc. despite playing 40 more games.

Math is hard.

Nah.

You can 100% argue drew was the best Qb in 2009. The only thing not supporting it is tramteam record (14 vs 13).

Every (or near every) metric and advanced metric put Brees > manning.

2011 is the year people want to talk about. But Rodgers was legit insane that year.

Drew routinely put up all time numbers in multiple years, where other qbs have won MVP with less.

That's why I said cam is like frank gore. Dude is just sturdy and keeps producing a steady pace. Has a few elite years (like '17 and '19), but overall he's just a top 5-10DE for a decade while guys were top 3 for a handful and fell off the face of the earth.

Drew led the league in all the relevant QB stats many times over. Elite

Jordan is very good and consistent. He’s a “compiler” which usually carries a negative connotation, but it shouldn’t. He’s been a model of durability and that counts for something, as does his run game work

i'm all for it... i just hope he knows when it's time to hang it up, and doesn't hang on for "one more" when it's clearly time to go

I dont disagree with any of this.

But if we are asking non saints fans im not sure Drew had ever been ranked amongst the best. Not saying i agree with that in the slightest just what i feel the perception is. He has always been viewed as the 3rd guy

Taking care of yourself to be able to play this physical game is a skill in itself.

Im not a Favre fan in the slightest or Brady...but what they and along with Brees have been able to do is fantastic.

Ive never seen durability as a knock. Nor should it be

He just never had the hype machine JJ did,

Watt deserved the hype. His peak was up there with the all time defensive greats.

Jordan should have a chance at the HOF. All-Decade isn’t a guarantee but helps. Career numbers are great too

If anyone deserves it his it’s Cam. He never mailed it in and was a tremendous asset not only to the team but also the city

I promise you I’m not embarrassed for adding a qualifier to a very misleading post that made it seem like Jordan was as good as one of the game’s all time most dominant players at any point in time because their overall sack stat was similar.

J.J. Watt is an absolute lock for the HOF. No question.

a very misleading post

I wasn't mislead. Very direct post. He simply said for as great of a player that J.J. Watt is, Cam has better numbers.
Not a mention that Cam is better than Watt. When healthy Watt is other worldly. Cam has shown up week in and week out and played at a very high level.

Cam has better numbers because he played in 40 more games, and they’re barely better, hence the qualifier. We’re talking 1 sack better and ~50 more tackles with 40 more games and way less TFL, qb hits, hurries, passes deflected to boot. His numbers aren’t better because he was sniffing JJ Watt impact, SOME of his overall numbers are better because he’s played way more and had more opportunities to produce numbers.
