Nothing I am saying is that controversial. You live in a bubble & you are likely part of the group I’m talking about, which is why you’re so defensive.
I don’t want Brees to go anywhere. He has a team to win back over, though.

If my bubble is that I want to be left alone, not ridiculed because I don’t subscribe to mob think mentality and that I am 100% against cancel culture then I will stay in my bubble.

Btw the OP is a huge troll
4 pages in an hour lmao
I woukd say I was a troll were I not the poster. Yhis was a random conversation with someone regarding another topic when this came up. And right now Brees is dealing with personal problems as well. I think it may be the right move for him as well.

OP may be a troll but I can guarantee you Brees is considering retiring.
Between this bullshite and his son's staph infection he may be done.
Maybe. I’m not totally ruling it out.
But I believe Brees cares a whole lot more about his image. He’s a people pleaser. He is certainly conscious of his life after football & his numerous business ventures.
So he will apologize, he will try & make it right. A team conversation face to face will be therapeutic. Opposite of this twitter war. Makes more sense to play if you go through that.

I don't see how the Saints as a team come back from this. His teammates first reaction was to rush to Twitter to toss Brees under the bus. No benefit of the doubt for a guy you've known for years, no personal conversations, shite Cam didn't even watch the whole interview. Straight to Twitter.
You think those are the type of guys who are going to have a conversation with Drew and say "ok we good." Nope. I anticipate it'll be a continued cold shoulder for Brees and a fractured locker room. Black guys over here, Brees over there and the continued mindset we see all over the place right now that "if you ain't with us you against us" that will further drive a wedge between the team.

A second super bowl ring is not worth dealing with this bullshite.

He most definitely will but I doubt he’ll have the respect in the locker room he once did. Some of them will just say he’s trying backtrack and doesn’t mean it.

Imagine an America where a man with Drew Brees track record is ran out of the league and is seen as unhireable for saying he doesn't agree with disrespecting the flag (pretty sure he said disrespecting and not kneeling) and then explains why he loves the flag, from the soldiers, woman's suffrage fight, civil rights activists, and the fact that in that moment we can unify because we are stronger unified. Imagine a time where that is seen as an unhireable statement.

You have a weird way of wanting to be left alone.

Drew did nothing to disrespect that team and anybody on it. And you know that.
Thomas and Kamara are the ones who ran to twitter like a little bitch to shite on drew in public instead of being real men and talking to Drew privately about it.
frick doing anything to "win back over" after something like that.

People under 30 think the world revolves around twitter
When football heats up again that will be the focus.
This dead time is a curse.
