San Francisco has a taller defense. That's the key to defeating Brees. There's still a very good reason that in the NFL QBs need to be at least 6'2" with 6'4" being ideal. Plus Drew isn't really 6'. In new shows and new socks he's about 5'11". He just can't stand in the pocket. The more he moves the more likely he makes mistakes and gets hurt.

He's got about 2-3 more years in the NFL at most. The saints need to go all out the next two years if they want another Super Bowl. As George Allen used to say "the future is now"

Yeah he had a good game, but in the NFL he'll always be vulnerable because of his height. He's going to lose some speed, agility, and arm strength as he gets older and as those things leave him he'll be less able to compensate for his height and he's never had strong arm like Favre. Heck Stafford can out thrown him now.

I like seeing the saints win, but to do that they need to do it now. I say they need to get some veterans on defense via free agency and or trade if they want to win a Super Bowl in the next year or two. Drew has him limitations and unless you want to start rebuilding now you need to play for it all next year.

Stafford cannot out-throw Drew. If he could, then HE would have broken the all-time passing record instead of Drew. And by the way, Stafford is throwing to arguably the most freakish athletic specimen the NFL has seen in a generation, and Brees still cleaned M Staffy's clock twice.

He's exactly 6'0" barefoot. I doubt the NFL combine staff lied about it.

I agree.... Pure luck that he has thrown over 5000yds twice and all the probowls. Yeah, he's done once all the other teams figure that out.

Yes. It has absolutely destroyed his career and made him a mediocre QB at best.
