Wouldn't be surprised if something outrageous came out and Payton was suspended

I can’t wait until Payton writes the tell-all book after he retires.

Yes, it was actually an 18 page PowerPoint that a 3rd grader did though. I remember them showing that and laughing hysterically while reading it.

Good move. Can't have the Saints so horribly tarnishing the league like they did a few years ago.

The NFL provided security for Payton's family b/c they were worried about this POS.

Then they hire him

There's so much info that surrounded Bountygate that most fans were never feed. You just really had to follow all of the proceedings very closely. If most people actually knew all the information & statements that were given, they would truly realize just how much bullshite Bountygate really was.

Hell, all they have to do is read Paul Tagliabue's statement after he presided over the player's appeals where he called the whole thing a witch hunt. This is from the man who basically hand picked Roger Goodell to replace him. He also scolded Goodell in his statement. Yet most opposing fans still believe the big bad Saints were paying players to intentionally injure opposing players. It was all horseshite. Bountygate was simply the beginning of Roger Goodell & league office over stepping their boundaries. It was also the beginning of all these soap opera type story lines we see almost on a weekly basis now. The writings were on the wall. Any football fan who supported the Saints punishments weren't fans of protecting the integrity of the game. Pete Rozelle is rolling over in his damn grave right now because of the shitshow the NFL has become. Just look at the clusterfrick the league's concussion protocol has become.

This has to be a joke right?

How bout the fact that since the beginning of football coaches run on the field at the end of games trying to call timeouts to make sure they are noticed and don't get penalized for it.

Hasn't happened in over 20 years.

Now this guy who on trial talked about how he had an axe to grind with Vitt and the Saints during bountygate because he was fired and wanted to get back at the Saints?

If Payton gets suspended over this, and then add to it the former falcons player getting subbed in at the last minute as a ref, and the Kamara injury just being radio silence during the broadcast (since when do injuries to star players just barely ever get mentioned again in primetime games?), it all has to be enough for trying to expose the NFL for tampering with games.

It's really sad. During the NFL's so called investigation, they denied even knowing who Mike Cerullo was.

quote:

Ginsberg asked Vitt about an interview with NFL investigators Joe Hummel and Jeff Miller in March 2012: "Jeff Miller and Joe Hummel showed me documents, and they said that I think it was 8-10 players had testified to these documents are true and, you know, that some coaches have come in and said that these documents - corroborated these documents and there's a bounty program in place. And I was absolutely shocked. And I could remember like it was yesterday looking at Joe Hummel and Jeff Miller in the face saying, you've got two guys responsible for this. This is Mike Cerullo, and this is Gregg Williams, both disgruntled employees that have been fired at our company. They denied even knowing who Mike Cerullo was, but they agreed with me that, yeah, Gregg Williams is a little crazy. They both agreed with me on that. So I would say that it wasn't a very good meeting."

LINK

Yet, later on the league stated that Cerullo should be applauded for coming forward & now they give him a kick back job for being a bitch arse snitch.

quote:

The league said in a September 2012 statement that Cerullo "should be commended for coming forward" in the case.

"The information and detail he provided was credible and has since been confirmed in numerous respects both by other witnesses and by supporting documents," the statement read. "It is unfortunate that some have sought to unfairly attack his integrity rather than give attention to the substance of his declaration."

What a crock of shite.

A week after the season ends, it's a Friday night, I'm saying not more than a week after the Super Bowl. Sean Payton calls me on a Friday night. ... He said Mike Cerullo's fiance was just in a terrible car accident down in Oklahoma. The truck overturned, a child was thrown from the car and was drowned in a pond. Sean has got emotion in his voice, he's upset.

"I said, 'Listen to me, Sean, this never happened.' He gets pissed off at me. (Payton says) 'How can you say such a thing? This is one of your ...' I said, 'It never happened. Just relax. Give me 20 minutes. In 20 minutes, you call Cerullo back, and we'll see if this happened or not.'
I've actually met people like this.

I have no idea what would possess a person to do this besides the desperate need for pity and regard.
Form of Munchausen Syndrome.

I don't know if this is true, but it's possible.

From snitching & performing homosexual acts behind the scenes. (Sucking dicks & kissing male asses)

Also, how in the frick do you think he got that job at Princeton to begin with?! The NFL used connections to get him that job because he certainly wasn't certified for such a job based on his prior job history. Cerullo was a frickin nobody until Bountygate, now suddenly he is a somebody? GTFO here with that bullshite Lester.
