If it loses, you are paying $50 for the saints to have a top 5 overall pick in the draft. Small price to pay

You can bet $50 on the under and win a $50 prize and still have a top 5 overall pick.
And you can gloat with 3-14 as well.

As a die hard saints fan I’d prefer to have some skin in the game to root for them to win each week knowing full well there’s no chance at a Super Bowl run anytime soon…

Ironically, winning this bet would be very, very bad for the franchise.
I could see Saints fans gloating at 6 wins while the team ends up drafting 11th and missing on all of the elite talent in next year's draft.

If you think the win total will be 7, bet the over. If you think less than 5.5 bet the under.
If we win at least 6 games the people who bet the over get paid (minus a commission). If we have 5 wins and a tie it's exactly 5.5 so it's a push and you get your money back. If we're 5-12 or worse the under bets are the ones who get the payout.
If too many people bet the over they'll increase the line. Previous bets still count at 5.5 but future bets will be over/under 6.5 wins.
