We play there every year so no rush, but everyone should do ATL at least once with the new stadium. Especially true if we have an early season game and you can pair it with a Braves or Atlanta FC game.

What part of Nashville you live? Hendersonville here

I'm in Hillsboro Village.

Since I moved here I usually make the Falcons away game since it's very close and go back to one NOLA game.

I plan to go to the Steelers game around Xmas time when I'm down that way for the Holidays.

Nashville is nice bc it’s all walkable. Stadium isn’t special

Dallas and Arizona have nice stadiums but are in the middle of nowhere

Buffalo is a fun atmosphere and have some of the best fans despite their success

I enjoyed Philly and didn’t have trouble with their fans

I'd put Denver up there. Great city to hang out in before and after the game, nice stadium, fans are pretty friendly to opposing fans.

I've been to a handful of Broncos games while wearing my Saints gear and have never had a problem. In fact, I've run into a few Broncos fans who made the trip to NOLA a couple of years ago when their team played the Saints and they raved about their experience. They said the Saints fans, unlike the Raiders and Chiefs fans, were friendly and many Saints fans thanked them for coming.

And you're right about Denver being a great place to check out a game. Even though the tailgating scene leaves something to be desired. There are plenty of breweries and bars in the downtown area along with food trucks.

I've been to a few road stadiums, but the worst by far was the R-Words' FedEx Field.

I went to the cowboys vs redskins game a few years back when RG3 and Romo went head to head. Winner won the division. Think it was the last week of the regular season. It was an incredible experience but I guess I didn't have to worry since the saints weren't playing.

They abused Mo Claiborne that game when they needed an instant first down.

Same here. At the 2008 game the Broncos threw an incomplete pass. The PA announcer says "Pass from Jay Cutler to Brandon Marshall is..." and I stood up and yelled "IN-COM-PLETE!" The Broncos fans all around me laughed and gave me high fives.

Yeah that's very true. The times I've been, the Saints fans WERE the tailgating scene.

Denver had by far the nicest fans. Cool city and stadium.

New England had the biggest a-hole fans.

Jerry's World is cool because of the stadium.

Tampa was kinda lame.

I had a great time in Cleveland. Other than losing to the damn Browns. HoF is close and worth the trip.

I enjoyed Minnesota. Bad arse stadium and fun town. They love their strip clubs there. This was the first game, so it wasn't freezing yet.

San Diego was the biggest piece of shite stadium, but thats irrelevant now.

Went to a Titans Saints game a few years back. Seemed like an old, grumpy crowd. They were playoff contenders too and there were a ton of Saints fans there. For the stadium itself, it was so so. Average at best.

Minnesota is awesome. Atlanta looks awesome (have been twice but not in new stadium). Seattle is awesome. Denver is solid. Chicago is awesome.

Any NFL stadium that is downtown makes for a great roadtrip.

Worst are suburban stadiums like Miami and Dallas and San Fran. Washington and New England are also suburban but taking the trains right to them makes it less terrible.

Buffalo was a good time. It was an easy drive up to check out Niagara Falls. The fans were cool although i did have a popcorn bucket thrown at me.

Dallas was shitty. The tailgating was crap. The stadium is in the middle of nowhere. Their animated cowboy logo was annoying as frick. The stadium was ok but the seats in the upper deck felt like a mile away from the field.

Atlanta’s new stadium is just stupid. There’s too much going on. I’m there to watch a football game, not hang out at a bar in a stadium. I sat in the upper deck once and like Dallas, you are too far removed from the field. The lowers were good seats.

MetLife stadium was cool for the giants game. It’s really hard to get out there but it’s a newer stadium that was built for football. It doesn’t feel overdone like the Atlanta butthole.

Will be amazing if the game against the Titans lines up with LSU's game versus Vandy. Please scheduling gods make it so.

Can the board offer opinions on the best away venues (and maybe also on the venues that may not be the best to travel to)?
the best away trips tend to be in walk-able cities. or at least with an easy to get to stadium. Places like Miami, New England, Arizona, Dallas, San Fransisco, Washington and the New Yorks make for shitty quick trips. Obviously, some are worth it if you will be there for a whole week or something.

Cleveland is a surprisingly great trip, Detroit's stadium is right in the action. Tennessee, Tampa, Pittsburgh, Green Bay, Cincy, Carolina, Atlanta and Indy you can all pretty much walk from your hotel to the stadium.

Seattle and Chicago are in weird parts of the city but quick and easy public transportation to get to them from the tourist centers

Seattle was the closest experience to NO. We started downtown and Bloody Mary'd our way to the stadium, stopping in at bar after bar (some swanky hotel bars, some shitty dive bars closer to stadium) soaking up the pregame atmosphere on our walk. This was back in like 2007 and was a SNF game). Cant even imagine how cool it would be with weed now.

Only been to an away game at the circus tent in Atlanta. It was all right except for the Falcons fan.

Took a tour of Jerryworld though and that place is amazing.

We try and make a few trips each year.

Tampa- nice city, fans don't really give a shite, not a rowdy atmosphere

Atlanta- be prepared for a lot of shite talk

Houston- decent tailgate options as everyone and their mom brings a smoker to the parking lot

Arizona- fun city, cool tailgating

Miami- self explanatory

Dallas- shitty fans

Buffalo- had a blast. caught sabres game, niagra falls, and partied hard with Bills Mafia

Baltimore- nice stadium but in the ghetto, inner
harbor is nice

Denver- if you like the outdoors and getting high you will love it

I think that's what we have hit so far. We plan on going to Tennessee and Jacksonville next year. possibly seattle as well
