Are you retarded? Why would they fix that game in favor of the Saints? The commissioner hates Sean Payton, and Los Angeles is a massive TV market. If there was a fix, it would have been in favor of the Rams.

Meh, I'd trade them that for the multiple non calls where their DBs didn't turn for the ball with their hands all over our receivers that resulted in some of the stalled 3rd quarter drives.

Cool.

Saints win by more if Ingram doesn’t get the dome of a helmet to his forearm. Or we get the call for leading with the helmet and keep the ball.

See how stupid this exercise is?

You keep ingnoring my original point, but that's fine. They won. It's done. Moving on.

It was the right call.
I had no idea why everyone thought he made it.

The review actually changed my mind that he didn't make it.

SBnation;rams got robbed

Can anyone here be honest with themselves?

We won by double digits. Can’t see how any rational person could come to the conclusion the Rams were robbed considering it was a play early in the second quarter. It shifted momentum back to the mean after Ingram’s fluke fumble.

what if

What if Ingram never fumbled to give them that chance? See how the what if game works? You can pick apart tons of plays during the course of the game. What happened, happened. The Saints won by double digits, even after they allowed the Rams to tie it. That’s impressive

Your point was that the call (which was correct) changed the game. The fumble, with no call for leading with the crown of the helmet, would’ve done the same.

These what ifs are pointless.

I said it had the "potential" to change the game, that's why the "we won by 10 points" argument didn't hold water.

As evidenced by the rest of my posts in this thread, I’m really not too tied to the 10 point lead argument.

Dont put it on one call. The officials missed / let go numerous penalties. It’s not about the calls it’s about how you handle them. The Rams shut down. Cam Jordan gets held on every play but you don’t see him shut down. Cam keeps going.

Watch the replay again and tell me when any portion of his body but his hand or bottom of his foot made contact with the ground and where he was.

We should be grateful that he can no longer get behind the NFL and will thus not be able to post anymore on ST

Not many here give a flying frick cause the Saints are ALWAYS on the wrong end of bullshite decisions and calls/no calls.

He honestly looks to be about half a yard short in the replays, I think people are just seeing what they want to see so they can complain about refs

It was a silly decision to fake IMO. It was too close to call either way for me.

I understand hindsight, but the fact remains they were gifted a turnover.. and they should have just taken the free points off a turnover.. in a game where nobody can stop anybody.. Go ahead and get that advantage there.. The still were getting possession after half any ways.

Also, had it been the Saints on the same play.. call would have stood as well.

I don't think there was enough evidence to overturn the call on the field.

Had the officials ruled it a first down the think that call would have stood.
