He looked really slow off the block on the first run:

And he follows it up with a 4.87. He definitely lost some money today.

Completely off the Key bandwagon after today.
There's no excuse for a 238 lb edge rusher to run a 4.8 unless he's just slow, which he clearly isn't seeing as how he was expected to be a top 10 pick coming into the season.
It's fairly obvious he doesn't love football. He delayed surgery, didn't come stay with his teammates, came in way overweight, played with zero motor, and then skipped out on the bowl game. There's way too many red flags to take him in the first two rounds. I'd take him in the 3rd if he's available tho.

Yup said before with some of his other measurables at his small size this kid has bust written all over him. This 40 at under 240 lbs. pretty much puts the nail in it.
Not that athletic and only flashed one year. On top of the other "questions" we should definitely stay away. Maybe the Falcons take him.

You can’t watch the citrus bowl last year and say Key isn’t that athletic. Nobody has corralled Lamar Jackson like that.
Now, he didn’t test well which is probably more of an effort question. But that’s a whole different discussion as to why not to draft him.

tl;dw - Key ran slow but his quickness in short areas is telling; looked phenomenal in position drills; the key for his is off the field - need to really evaluate him (comparison to Randy Gregory's situation)

Think I'd pass on him but I'd take a shot if we had a 2nd. Dude looked super quick and athletic in those drills just isn't a natural sprinter that's why his 40 was bad.
You could see him pull up at the end almost like he had trouble finishing at full speed
