No but hopefully this quiets the Taysom crowd that thinks he needs more usage.

If we ran him like 90% of this board wants, he wouldn't even be playing anymore.

Wouldn’t worry about Wednesday injury reports, especially on a short week.

Yeah but lets run him 30 times a game at tailback smh. Look at the guy’s injury history- the main reason he went undrafted was because of his extensive injury history at BYU. Hes great at what he is- a X-factor who during certain games can help us win but not a bell cow wr/rb that can be used a crazy amount times. The guy also plays special teams where he’s constantly getting into high speed collisions. Go ahead and downvote all you Taysom should have “higher usage” apologists lol

Pretty sure the only ST that Taysom still plays is punt team as the punt protector/ fake punt runner.

Dude makes tackles on special teams in that role where hes also technically playing punt defense where the highest impact collisions occur in football. I specifically remember him making a great tackle on a returner in the Titans game. Taysom isn’t just a lame decoy on special teams.

The Saints are 16-1 when Taysom has 7 or more carries we don't need to use him every play, but that stat makes it pretty clear that he needs to be involved.

I agree with this. I just dont think he should be playing tailback and our whole offense running through him as some have suggested.

He was injured a few weeks ago (not knee) and healed very quickly. I wouldn't stress too much about this.

He does need to be involved. What made him even more effective on Monday was that he handed the ball off and threw a pass. That kept the D from keying on him running.

Taysom & Williams both injured and missed practice Wednesday, correct? And neither has been given an actual diagnosis or timetable to come back correct?
So as of right now we are looking Tony Jones Jr and Kirk Merrit for healthy RBs, and probably having to call up Jordan Mims from the practice squad? While I'm hopeful, that does not sound promising. I am surprised we did not call Darrell Williams back if he's not hurt, or another free agent like Fournette for a visit
Guess we'll be pass heavy this week and deploy the short passes and screens early and often as the "long handofFs"

Kendre Miller fully practiced. Merritt was released. We’ll be fine. Even Taysom was limited so he did practice.
