But seriously what are our needs in the draft now?

Straight BPA?

Still have to wait for the dust to settle?

If I’m them I’m looking for a DT, a WR, a RB, a OG to replace Peat next year and maybe a S and a TE. A good Edge rusher if one is available would be an option in the first two rounds

We always go line pick. I think we take a guard with the 29th pick or trade up to take a DE

Can't keep banking on Demarrio Davis playing at this level further into his 30s. He's had great injury luck and Werner is constantly hurt, so our lack of depth behind them in worrisome

Agreed. Give me Drew Sanders or Jack Campbell in the late 1st and I’m as happy as a pig in shite.

Absolute needs:
DT - no true DT that can stand out
DE - no true DE that can stand out & Jordan our anchor on that line is on his last legs

Relative needs:
LB - replacing Elliss is important, but finding a next guy up for Demario is important as well. We need a 3rd guy, case closed.
OG - There will be a day Probowl peat is no longer here and there will be a day I don't wanna pay Ruiz and make that same mistake again. That's 2 guys in the next 2 years.

WR - CGM coming back, hopefully proves doubters wrong, but having our pants down again is not a bold move.

If value is there, you take it:
S - Maye & Mathieu were mistakes, but mistakes we have to live with for another 2 years. JT Gray belongs on ST, nothing more. PJ Williams sticks around forever, but he isn't the solution. Smoke Monday can be a gem, but I think he's a gem for special teams.

TE - Juwan has solidified us for now, but make no mistake...a guy falls, a guy shall be taken.

RB - Williams also paired with Kamara will keep us solid for 2-3 more years, but its not a bad idea to consider a 3rd guy to groom and do it all. 2025 - AK's contract is absolute atrocious too (22.4mil base salary omfg)

You probably don't need it and shouldn't take it:
T - Ram, Penning, and Hurst have this manned. we have depth here, there are better needs elsewhere

QB - Carr, Winston, Hill, and in a weak draft --- lets not. You also can't carry him gameday at this rate and PS him and he'll get poached.

CB - you have 3 solid guys in lattimore, adebo, Taylor; solid vet in Roby. Its okay for now

Pass rush , pass rush , pass rush.

Cannot go into the season with 34 yr old Cam , granderson , and tanoh kp as the pass rushers.

Payton turner shouldn’t be on the roster next season and most likely wouldn’t be if he was a 4th round pick.

I was thinking (my first mistake) that when Penning returns, the Hurst moves down to LG and Peat sits. Depth is okay with Throckmorton, but tackle is thinner.

Oline should be drafted every year, but I don’t think it is much of a priority in this draft. My $.01.

That's the kid that came into college clean cut and like 230lbs. Then each year he gained like 20lbs and he looked more homeless

He'll fit right in

Wasn't that Ram's original position coming in?

O-Line (Interior)
D-Line

Still need a young stud Safety

Maybe a #1 TE of a good one falls.

Depth at RB & WR

I wouldn't count out a QB prospect to groom as back-up

The 2 guys we signed yesterday are primarily pass rushers and bad at run D, so it alleviates the concern for an elite edge somewhat.

But we still need lots of depth at DI and edge

A'Shawn Robinson would be a good one to add. He's a run stopper
