Like the 13 point effort vs Carolina?

Or the 2 interceptions on the first 2 drives at St. Louis?

Or may the 7 point output in Seattle?

You can twist my words any way you want. I never once said Brees wasn't a great QB. Never said he could never win away from the Superdome never, ever. I didn't he hasn't won away from the Superdome. I said he sucks away from the superdome. He makes more mistakes, forces the ball more, and throws more picks. If you disagree, I'm not sure what games you've been watching.

But you can keep pointing out the Super Bowl 4 years as a game he won away from home. Because those were my exact words, right? Brees is 0-forever outside of New Orleans and he's never had one single good game on the road. That was my exact quote.

think you would be fine with this without "he sucks". Just guessing his stats are still above NFL norm on the road. He isn't as good but still better than most on the road.

I checked in Sat nite myself. I think the best thread, one of the "time to get Brees replacement" ones was deleted. Twas a perfect example of the gameday crowd posts.

Yes, dude led his team back to take the lead with little time on clock. Bad conditions against a great D on the road. If you are ashamed of our QB, you need to exit stage left.

Oh noz, he made 2 more bad mistakes. frickING SUCKS, WE NEED TO CUT HIM, OH MY GOD SO MUCH WASTED CAP SPACES WE NEED MORE WILL SMITHS>>> f OH MY DRAMA ART THOU MORE DRAMA

like so awesome.

Failed to mention Pats game and jets comeback on the road

quote:

He did enough, but he wasn't exactly "Superdome Drew Brees"

Also, I never said they should cut him, replace him, or any of that. Just stated a fact. He's half the QB away from New Orleans. We have a pretty decent sample size that proves that.

1 TD 2 picks against an awful secondary. You may want to pump the brakes on how good of a road QB he is until the Seattle game is over

We won, but we didn't play well. The only thing different between this game and the Carolina game was the protection was better which had a lot to do with armstead's improvement and just as much to do with the defense we played...and payton finally committed to the run game though it took him 2 quarters to do it. And that's with us running at 6-7 a clip

I'm worried when we don't have early success in Seattle, it will be right back to chuck and duck

Maybe "he sucks on the road compared to how he plays at home" would have been sufficient

The outcome of the seattle game won't have shite to do with my opinion of Drew Brees as a QB at home or on the road.

This.

Brees isn't a shitty QB, but he certainly hasn't performed at the levels he used to while on the road this year.

It's easy money on the road to bet he'll throw some sort of stupid interception early in the game that will put our defense in an early hole. Not sure why that is, but for some reason I'm always expecting it and it always happens.

There were times most of that Philly game, I would get nervous when he dropped back, for fear of a bogus stare down throw that lead to a pick.

Regardless of the reason, Brees' play declines heavily on the road. Obviously trading him asinine, as he is still a top QB in this league. However, also obvious, is his below (his own) average play away from home. To combat this, we need to do what we did Saturday night again in Seattle.

Brees has become the girlfriend that once was your solid rock. Now you think she may have grown tired of you or she is cheating on you, so you blow any abnormal discrepancies completely out of proportion because you're now insecure and don't think you can always trust her.

Yea - Payton sucks at play calling.

Good thing he finally saw the light and came into agreement with The Fox huh.

Let me ask you Fox - did you spend 30 or 40 hours last week looking at Eagles/Saints film tape before you decided what plays the Saints needed to run, or did you just know instinctively what to do?
