I’m gonna be positive and say this is a great opportunity for Dyson to get some heavy minutes.

I think we can go still go 3-3 over the next 6 even without BI and Zion with games against Houston, Detroit, and Washington. Hopefully we can get BI back by the Cleveland game in a couple weeks.

I read that BI is probable for Friday

The issue is when one is out, We lean on them way too much. Some guys need to be aggressive and not defer so much.

That would solve some issues.

Oh 100% they don’t play together much and it’s an issue.

After Boogie, I’m always cautious when a players workload goes through the roof.

Who knows, re-evaluation in 3 weeks and then I’m sure he will be held out for a week for conditioning. That’s best case scenario

I’d love to see a link where you read that. Willie said today that he hasn’t even fully practiced yet.

I really hope not. If he’s not back by the end of February there should be a lot of concern IMO

Eh. I still wouldn't panic. But he needs to come back right around a month before the playoffs. There was a huge difference in Zion Game 1 of the season vs Game 20-21.

March 9th at the latest should be the target.

He'll be back after the all star break.
I'll be shocked if he is back before Feb 17.

yeah, i think vegas would set the over under at 4.5 weeks.

I’m not overly concerned with our seeding as just getting a good 30-35 game run with BI and Zion going into the playoffs.

Hope BI can come back healthy in the next 10 days or so and we can maintain a top 4 seed IMO if so, as we have a bunch of dudes that can ball. We also have a bunch of dudes that are on growth trajectories that should increase with more playing time (Dyson, Jose, Trey, Herb).

Given the initial timeline( re-evaluated in 3 weeks) , if he’s ready immediately after all star break , I would take that as a positive .

As someone else noted , his fitness level after being out a month + , is a big concern .

LOL.

As I said before the season:

He'll play 20, get hurt and then the Pels will wait to see how the season shapes up. If they're in the thick of it they'll put him back out there towards the last 1/3 of the season.
