Zion Williamson will not play in the next three games and will not play in the All-Star Game.
Willie Green said team will not see the starting five they started the year with before ASG.
Expect Williamson to be re-evaluated once again after the break from his hamstring injury.
It's a little oddly worded but I'm pretty sure he's saying the next check is after the ASB.

So he likely won't be in play vs the Raptors now...wonderful

Our training staff continues to be exceptional at their biggest job, player availability. Keep knocking it out of the park, Aaron.

Not great news.
At this point the medial staff needs to reevaluate how Zion is training.

They really began this injury with a 3 week timeline then added 2 weeks now adding a few more weeks
just be transparent from the beginning. It really shouldn’t be some mystery as to how long a player will miss with an injury. First Ingram’s toe was the mystery and now zions hammy

They are so cryptic in injury updates, probably due to the Zion mess last year.
I'd be shocked if Zion isn't ready to go after the ASB unless he's had a big setback they aren't telling us about.

Honestly, if you've been following the Pelicans for any meaningful time at all, you knew this was coming.
I doubt anyone here is surprised.

People are going to lose their shite if he doesn’t play the first game after ASB. Myself included.
This guy is just way too injury prone

Clear as mud.
"Hey kids, thanks for buying those expensive Zion jersey's at the Arena, and for wearing them all over town when you hang with your friends. I know you want to see Zion play in person, but F you if you think we will give you any indication on when that will happen."
Signed, Pelicans FO

Has Zion ever worn a City jersey. Not wearing one this season, didn't wear the good ones from last season. Getting kind of ridiculous.
Hamstring injuries can happen to anyone, even the best of athletes. It's not like he brought this on himself by not doing something correctly. But he has to recover faster than this.

Even when he comes back he will get injured again at some point this season

I think he just needs to lose weight and maybe reel it in just a tad on offense. Throw in the jumper a little more often. Even Giannis doesn't go full throttle to the rim as much as Zion. He needs to play a little more conservatively so he's not getting beat up a shitload every night.

What is the point of being so cautious with zion? He is always injured anyway. He's only played in 40% of his games in 4 years. It cant get any worse. When zion leaves after this contract are you going to be happy that you sat him all those games out of caution? Grow some fricking balls

I wish I was 6’8 and can collect millions doing half the work

This makes sense why we might trade for john collins. You need someone at the 4 who can you know actually play basketball games

We don't know that they are being overly cautions. Zion may be telling them it doesn't feel right yet.
We thought they were being overly cautious with BI, but Jen Hale said before the Kings game that BI still had some soreness in his toe which is why they rested him.

We'll survive if he just has to miss 3 more games. My bigger concern is whether this is a Zion led delay, or a team doctors led delay. If the latter, I'm concerned we'll see those distrust and negative feelings from last year start back up.

They really do such a disservice to the players the way they handle injury information.
