The rest is history. Jrue Holiday just mentioned Zion rallied the squad in the locker room. We FINALLY have an alpha folks.

The 19 year old kid is more of a man than AD will ever be. I guess it’s hard to be a man when you’re getting deep dicked by LeBron daily.

I know Jen asked directly if someone said something and Jrue answered Zion, but listening to his answer, I'm not so sure he really meant to say Zion spoke up at the half, as opposed to his play did the talking in the 1st half.

You’re paraphrasing

Jrue essentially said Zion’s play is what got them going

That's how I took it. Before Jenn's follow-up, Jrue said coach ripped them in the locker room.

Zion will be that dude soon enough.

Jrue also said, “Zion is battling his arse..,his butt off down there”

Edit: he said battling, not playing

“We knew we didn’t come out with the energy that we needed. We kind of got reamed out in the locker room.” Jrue Holiday said to Jen Hale in postgame interview. Mentioned Williamson in particular spoke up: “Yeah, it was the rook. It was Zion. He was battling his arse off.”

JJ said he must not have been there for that...

Jrue meant by his play. Man, we get really excited about who says what in the locker room.

It really does feel like we have a guy who is u stoppable

Davis could score but his game was mostly consistent play throughout an entire game

Zion feels like a guy who can just hit the gas pedal and take over.

Don't forget that CP3 was kind of a bitch when he was with us. West was more the alpha and supposedly ripped into him in the locker room when CP knew that he was on his way out. I think it was after a game where Barrea buttfricked CP on the court.

I believe you're referring to a false rumor that was started after an inexcusable loss to a bad Knicks team. The rumor was started on a Spurs message board by the very same poster that coined the term Sons here.

Griff said in one of his interviews that he felt Zion would be the Alpha this team needed, and the one guy that would speak up and call other players out, but that it's hard to do when you're not playing.

We're seeing it now

Jrue took that stuff to heart. He was a beast in the second half.
