Not necessarily. Didn't the Saints have minicamp today? Nick was probably there and either saw Zion or one of the players/staffers did.

A reporter sees Zion and Griff together on campus. That’s the news? I’m not saying it’s nothing, but if this happened 5 days ago he wouldn’t have even mentioned it.

To me this also shows these trade rumors weren’t a leak to scare Zion which some mentioned on here. Leaks likely from Hornets side although im sure pels have leaked some limited info as well. I do wonder if Pels are serious about the number two pick- is this all a smokescreen and they’re actually shopping Ingram? Just a thought.

He can get in shape, his problem is when he can't play basketball he can't stay in shape. If he's healthy I'd expect him to come to camp looking great. Whenever the first injury hits is when we're going to start worrying if this is the beginning of the end of the season.

He has never been in shape here. Over 4 years of being too big and injury prone. He'll be wearing sweatshirts and joggers all summer in south LA, so we'll never know how he's doing until training camp.

We don't even know if he's healthy. He's been recovered from the injury for months and we have no idea how he is doing.
I've never seen a player like this ever. I don't get it or understand how he is protected and sheltered. He's so lucky he is in NO. He would be torn to shreds in NYC. He would have a breakdown.
They called him in to give him a pep talk and offer support? Seriously?

I'm pretty convinced that if we traded him or he signed with another team in free agency one day he would get healthy and fulfill his potential. I sure wish he'd do that here though.
