It'll never happen, but I would love that so much.

If anyone would get on Zion's arse it would be Jimmy.

Shams reporting Warriors and Suns are his top two preferred teams.

Hard to make a deal work with them, best I can come up with:

Warriors: Butler, Theis, Green, JRE
Pistons: GP3, Kuminga
Heat: Ingram, Wiggins, Looney
Pels: Podz, Ware, Duncan, Jovic

Obviously any deal with Suns would have to be them sending out Beal, but nobody is taking him so I don’t see a deal possible with them.

Luka to miss significant time with a calf strain.

That may make Dallas desperate to make a trade.

I don't see why they can't resolve this and reach an understanding. The Heat are currently in 6th place and could reasonably get a top 4 seed, if they have good health. All the teams he's targeting are in the same range. No need to blow it up.

This sound like Riley trying to maximize trade value.

Shel, disappointed in you. Your reading comprehension is also lacking.

I never said Fox wanted to come to the current situation New Orleans Pelicans.

Be better than that.

That’s always fun.

Five on five between the other four starters on one side then Jimmy and the janitors on the other?

That Memphis package was better IMO. They could have flipped Konchar and Kennard for 2nds

Need to start calling Russell “Rerun” because this is the second time the Lakers have sent him to the Nets.

Konchar cuts into their cap space. I’m not so sure he has the appeal Memphis has been trying to throw out there.

This is an interesting deal to me, as I’m not really sure LA got better. And they gave up a fair amount of draft capital, and more importantly, their big matching and expiring salary. Makes it much more difficult to make an additional deal

Edit: I see DFS is shooting well so far this year, but he’s 31 and has been a complete liability the past couple seasons.

Lakers wanted to add some 3 and D wings.

They still need a better backup center.

SXM morning show thinks there’s nobody that will give up anything for Jimmy. Skal said on their team plane last night the players were taking Miami’s side and blaming Jimmy because he’s done this everywhere

Butler is about to fall off a cliff. He's oft injured, weird, expensive and OLD.

Hard pass. His market isn't what he thinks it is.

Yup, but oddly enough I think Butler being on the market helps us with BI.

Teams will see what Miami is asking for Butler combined with his salary and think BI is a bargain

They are essentially both expiring.

I think BI knows at this point he won’t get max money on his next deal. Perhaps that will be a 1 and 1 or 2 and 1 deal to help reshape his value, but it would be a similar contract to what Jimmy would be looking for when he opts out.

Who would you rather have for a short term sub-max deal.

Not the guy that will be 36 years old next year that has soured his relationship at all 4 teams he's played at.
