Hopefully this opens the floodgates on other deals

Lets see what else they do.
According to the trade machines this is not a legal trade and GS would be over their hard cap, so they have to have something else lined up.

Did I miss something here. I was under the impression Butler didn't want to go to GS and said no, or he wouldn't sign an extension with them.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Ok, this puts GS 1.8 million under their hard cap, but they need to sign 3 guys now to get cap compliant. They could flip someone like Looney for a couple low cost contracts

So much for Butler not agreeing to an extension with GS. 60.5 million a year is insane

That is a fricking terrible contract to give Jimmy. He’s already declining and now you’re paying him 60m per year when he’s 36 and 37

Having trouble tracking all this… Heat basically traded Jimmy and Josh Richardson for Wiggins and picks, due to all the rerouting?

Slomo could take Raptors out of the BI business.

Looks like full trade is:
GS: Butler
Miami: Wiggins, Tucker, top 10 protected 2025 pick
Raptors: Anderson
Jazz: Schroeder
Pistons: Richardson, Lindy
Question is what did they send to the other 3 teams to get them to take the salary

Does Toronto getting Kyle Anderson take them out of going after BI?

Basically in line with Curry and Green. So this will be their last attempt at a run. Which is fine since they'll go into a complete rebuild after the era ends.

GSW will have 120M in Butler/ Curry the next 2 years.
Zion/ BI for 80-90M doesn't seem so bad..... If healthy

Have to think so, unless they want to reroute Slo mo to us. Them taking him on only leaves them 900k below the tax.

I'd rather have Curry/Butler over our two dunces.

Klay was asking for 2 yr 40 mil total and they said too much. Now they giving Jimmy 60? Light year's ahead my arse.
