Capela or nothing?

If the offers are that shite, I guess Capela.

I'd prefer nothing, because that team is just delaying a hard rebuild that you've painted yourself into.

That's a weird move for San Antonio. I've never been a very big Fox fan. He's a guy that never seems to take full advantage of his skills. Maybe Pop can get something more out of him, but I just don't see a great fit there.

Fox and Wemby are a great pairing, and Fox is an underated defensive player.. He's near the top of the league every year in deflections.

I think it's a very smart move to upgrade Castle, who i'm assuming they'll be sending out with others, for Fox.

Unless it comes from Shams or a national guy, I'm not buying it.

This guys seems to be a local Spurs beat reporter, so should be pretty legit.

It's more of a timing and payroll issue that I'm thinking about. Fox will be 29 looking to make $60M per year in 2 years. That's going to have their roster pretty inflexible when Wemby enters his prime.

Castle is a future star. Getting him in his rookie year is a steal. I'm sure the Kings will get much more in the deal too. It's a nice reset. Derozan is making noise about wanting to move too. They can really build up a nice warchest off a couple of these moves. As long as they hold onto Sabonis, Ellis and Murray, they should bounce back pretty quick..

I think they keep Castle and send a bunch of picks.

During the summer discussions, it was never that the Hawks didn’t want Bi. It’s that they can’t afford him.

BS. They absolutely did not want him over the summer. And they have no interest in resigning him if they trade for him. Jalen Johnson and Risacher are their future at SF. He would merely be a stop gap for the injured Johnson who can help them make the playin this year without taking on any future salary.

And what about SG?

And teams like Philly are looking really dumb for their decisions this offseason other than BI. Paul George has been juuust a big of a disaster.

I imagine teams like ATL who think they have better options will end up in similar boats.

Yea I don’t think they give him up either. Maybe Vassell and picks with another player.

wemby is good enough now to anchor a contender. he will be drastically underpaid for the rest of his rookie deal AND his second deal. they'll have plenty f options

That's a real nice deal for the Clippers. They essentially trade two unplayable players for playable rotational players.

It also gets them under the tax and they can be a player in the buyout market now

The Cavs are just a hair over the tax as well like the Clippers were, so expect them to do something similar to get under it as well.

Are they still trying to get Cam Johnson?

Everyone wants in on Cam Johnson but no one is giving up multiple 1sts for him.
