I imagine they can’t back out of original agreement right?? They’d have to sweeten it somehow to get this extension...? Right?

Screw them. There’s not much more they could give us that’ll make me do it July 30th. I’d want #4 to play for us in SL!

We know. There’s already a thread on it.

It doesn’t matter to us at all.

They could back out of it, but no one would ever trade with them, or try to help them In any way ever again.

If you guys read the article, they arent trying to change any of the trade with us. Just trying to add other teams to take the scrubs left on the team.

Keeping it all one trade allows them to manipulate the cap somehow.

No one is trading for Mo Wagnet and a couple of other bums so it's a non issue

I don’t see why they couldn’t back out of a verbal agreement technically, but nobody in the league would ever deal with that FO if they reneged

That should not be allowed without a major penalty...

We'd still have to agree to it though wouldn't we?

If they aren't changing any of our pieces coming or going, I imagine we'd wouldn't have much say

As long as it doesn’t affect any of our pieces and it doesn’t affect the agreed dates, I don’t see why the Pelicans wouldn’t allow it.

We haven’t sent anything to the league for them to approve it. We’ve just agreed to terms, but if they back out 1) their team chemistry will 1000x worse than last year after ball, hart and Ingram know they were traded. And 2) it will make every nba team be very very hesitant to do business with them

We lose 10 mil in cap space and can’t have our rook in SL
