Nothing in that Brooklyn offer is a tier 1 asset, IMO. Both SGA and Shamet have more potential than anyone in that Brooklyn deal.
SGA for sure. Not sure about Shamet.

Nope. This was debunked pretty quickly.

I think Boston throws everything in to get AD now. Then once Brooklyn renounces Russell, Ainge goes after him.
So Boston is losing Tatum, Brown, Smart + picks but getting AD and DeAngelo Russell.
Brooklyn has Kyrie and KD
Pels have Tatum, Jrue and Zion
Knicks have

What happens if horford opts in and they still have Hayward’s contract.

Literally everyone almost immediately said it wasn’t true at all.

Anyway

Does anyone think we could tempt DLo in Free Agency? Depending on the trade we could possibly have the money, and it has to be an intriguing position to a guy like him at least to a certain degree. Playing with Jrue, Zion, Pieces we get in trade.

There will be lots of competition from more proven playoff teams. One thing the Pels do have though is Gentry. PGs do well in his system and players like paying for him.

Depends on what we get in a trade..

Lakers deal, then we wouldnt have a need for him, and instead should chase someone like Brogdon (Ball, Jrue, Brogdon, Ingram, Zion lineup to close games would be insanely fast paced although maybe inexperienced for awhile)

If we were to go with Knicks deal, then yes, Dlo would be a good option to go after

I do not see Brogdon as a full time 3

Full time no, but he can play it to close games..

Just like Zion cant be a full time 5, but he can be a great closer at the 5

Should Ball be closing at the point if he can’t hit a FT to save his life?

Depends on the situation, if you know they will be fouling intentionally, then you pull Ball out..

That would be within 1 minute left in a game though..

Closing I mean in a closing lineup the last 7-8 minutes of the game where the other team is just plum wore out, and throw that lineup at them and just run them off the floor

Not sure about Shamet.

Shamet can shoot the lights out, and has a decent handle/passing.

He definitely can shoot, but I would not rate him as high (to be better than any other asset the Nets have) at least at this point. I am not sure he develops into a full time starter or will be a role player. I like Allen from the Nets, but neither he or Shamet as a centerpiece.

That's the one downfall I believe in LAL package... They dont have that lights out 40% 3pt shooter to offer (although Hart shot 39% as a rookie)

and he guarded Kawhi in the playoffs. Both he and Jrue are capable of defending against 1-3, which is exactly what you want. Brogdon is 6'5" with a 6'11 wingspan, and strong like Jrue.
